The Hammer
Negative thought rage war on my mind
No positive thinking here in this fractured brain
Like a hammer negative thoughts plague me
I hid so long from the hammer I lost strength
I cry out to you to correct my negative ways
Give me strength to stop the hammer
Give power to turn negative into positive
I will defeat the hammer on a daily basis
The hammer will not run me down I will not let it
I let the hammer beat me down for so long
Now I vow to stop the hammer’s negative thoughts
